A Letter to Our St. Augustine Community

We’re watching a generation quietly drift—pulled by cultural voices that are louder than ever, and increasingly empty. What once came through slow shifts in entertainment and academia now reaches our children through every screen, every scroll, every moment of silence filled with noise. Too often, the church is silent in return.

Biblical literacy is low, and shallow teaching has left many unequipped. When hard questions come, many young people are left without a framework to stand—or a community to help them. This is why we felt a conviction to launch reGEN, a youth and family ministry of Regeneration Fellowship, here in St. Augustine.

For over twenty years, we’ve served the Church through music ministry in various capacities. We homeschool our three children (ages 8, 11, and 12) and have spent the past several years studying, unlearning, and relearning what it means to build our lives on the whole counsel of God’s Word. Through that process, we’ve come to one unshakable conviction: the discipleship of the next generation must begin at home and be reinforced through a faithful, local church community.

reGEN is a whole-family ministry, where students are grounded in truth, challenged to think biblically, and encouraged to ask hard questions without fear. A place where parents are supported with resources and relationships that help them lead with Biblical clarity.

We host a podcast called "Grace With Conviction", where we address many of these same concerns—calling attention to theological error in both the church and the culture, and inviting listeners back to the authority of Scripture and the simplicity of the true gospel. It is our desire to encourage pilgrims on the narrow way and walk faithfully—with patience and with a deep conviction that God is drawing His people to Himself.

We’re grateful to serve our beautiful city, and would be honored to walk alongside your family.

With gratitude and conviction,
Peter & Amanda Hartzell

Helping the next generation build unshakable faith!
At Regeneration Fellowship, we believe discipleship starts in the home and is nurtured in the church. That’s why we launched reGEN, our youth and family ministry.

We live in a time when truth is questioned, faith is challenged, and the next generation is pulled in every direction. Our desire is to train up young people to know what they believe, why they believe it, and how to live it out with conviction, grace, and joy. Through our weekly gatherings, biblical teaching, Christ-centered relationships, and honest conversations, students are invited to:

-
Explore the truth of God’s Word
-
Ask hard questions and wrestle with real issues
-
Grow in love for Christ and confidence in their faith

Gathering weekly is only part of the equation. We are diligently working to create an environment where discipleship doesn’t stop at the church door, but continues in everyday life—through resources, encouragement, and meaningful connection between parents, teens, and the church body. When parents are quipped, the family can thrive the way God intended.

Above all, it is a gift and joy to serve one another, and we have many FUN and EXCITING things planned! We hope you join us, as we enjoy the fullness of life we have in Christ Jesus.
